    The saddest day but a life to celebrate. The General Stud Book has chronicled the exploits of Thoroughbred stallions for over 250 years. Galileo will forever stand amongst the greatest of them. Our condolences to all @coolmorestud and everyone involved with the legendary stallion

    He’s not bay, chesnut, brown or grey - tomorrow’s St Leger favourite Logician is roan - one of only 27 roan foals registered in Britain & Ireland in 2016 against a foal crop of circa 14.5k! In 2017 there were 12 roan foals registered and only 9 last year. So he’s a rare breed!

    Such exciting news for German breeding that the beautifully bred son of Galileo - Japan - is to retire to stud at Gestüt Etzean for next season. The dual Group 1 winner will make his final racecourse appearance in Sunday’s Japan Cup.

    An updated pedigree for Kyprios but only room for the 1st Dam! Victory in the Gold Cup @Ascot makes him the 95th top level winner for Galileo. He was bred by @MoyglareStud out of their outstanding broodmare Polished Gem - so a brother to Search For A Song and a half to Free Eagle

    No racecards to print .. so the team are doing their bit for local communities by helping in the supply of PPE for @NHSuk workers. Printing sewing patterns for volunteers in the Northants area to create scrubs for GPs & Hospitals. Thanks to @Antalis_UK who provided material FOC.
