SC colleges must immediately close their DEI offices. We will remember their actions as we look at the budget. It's time to put learning, achievement, and truth first. Thank you to each legislator who signed!

- This would be a great time to defund Planned Parenthood. @SCHouseGOP will you make it a priority this year?BREAKING: Trump shuts down the pro-abortion HHS website reproductiverights.gov
- Today I was stripped of my committee assignments to Legislative Oversight and Agriculture, and placed on the "lowest" committee in the SC House, which covers medical affairs and a few other random items. Happy that @murrellsmith views me as the greatest threat to the status quo.
- Politics in South Carolina will never be the same thanks to its people who stood up for the conservative team we built in the @SCFreedomCaucus. Future candidates will be emboldened knowing they can win on principle, despite any amount of dark lobbyist money.Congratulations to the wonderful men and women of the @SCFreedomCaucus for winning ALL of your re-elections last night! Here's a live picture of all the Swamp money spent trying to defeat you:
GIF - When we say the ALA is now led by a Marxist, and we need to stop the spread of socialism in our public libraries... it's not hyperbole or analogy. The president of the American Library Association Emily Drabinski went to a Socialism conference in Chicago over the weekend and said “public education needs to be a site of socialist organizing. Libraries really do too.”
- Big win today! We can achieve a lot when Republicans stand together 🇺🇲News: The S.C. House passes a bill preventing state colleges and universities from using DEI in hiring and admissions decisions. It would also ban mandatory diversity training. A big win for academic integrity.
- I'm confused. It feels like some House members are shell-shocked that we actually had a serious debate about how to spend half a billion dollars in taxpayer money. Maybe we need to do even more to burst the echo chamber and give the people a voice?I hope the people of SC are paying attention to what’s happening at the Statehouse. Elections have consequences… #scpol
- Same reason the Freedom Caucus is hated. When you prove that winning is possible and we never had to yield an inch of ground to the Left, it exposes "Republicans" who aren't serious and are just in politics to be part of the club.Revisiting this Babylon Bee post for a moment: We all like to chuckle about this but it has more truth than satire. He is resented because he exposed the deep state of the right. That is doesnt have to be this way and that it never had to be this way. He was able to do this in
- With Trump coming out as pro-abortion, we need to redouble our efforts at the local and state levels. It is more clear than ever that the battle is not for the Presidency but for the state legislatures of 5, 10, or 50 years from now.Amendment 4’s ambiguous language would allow late term abortions where a baby can feel pain, it would eliminate Florida’s parental consent law and eliminate the requirement that only licensed doctors perform abortions, and it would open the door to taxpayer funded abortions. - Libraries should be a place for kids to learn and grow in American values, not a place where they are indoctrinated by Marxists and queer theorists. Time for state library associations to leave the national group! @sclanews
- The Columbia Swamp expects legislators to sit down, shut up, and vote yes. But rather than simply accepting the ideas of lobbyists and bureaucrats, I dig deeper, shine a light, and offer better alternatives. I proudly serve the people of my district - not the political club.
00:00 - It may be a new experience for the Dems - having Republicans in Columbia who do Republican things. But the Freedom Caucus is here to fight for the future of SC kids, not sit around the campfire with the radical Left. The “Freedom” Caucus wants to make South Carolina as dysfunctional as DC. postandcourier.com/politics/sc-le…
- It's the one thing we can count on in Washington D.C. - politicians will keep spending away our great-grandkids' wealth at ever more insane levels. Time to say NO.The uniparty in Washington D.C. is trying to ram through a horrible debt ceiling deal that betrays your future, your children's futures, and your grandchildren's futures. Add your name to our petition so your Reps know to vote no on this swampy betrayal👇 alignact.com/go/stop-the-mc…
- I'm in shock. Eliminating the motion period, and prohibiting amendments during cloture that aren't approved by the Majority Leader and Minority Leader, is a blatant muzzle aimed to silence non-Uniparty legislators.Remind me why Republicans have a supermajority in the State House of Representatives. Incredibly disappointed to hear of the rule changes being proposed. Appreciate @fitsnews work to keep us informed. fitsnews.com/2024/01/09/sou…
