    South Carolina ranks at the bottom in Education and has been controlled by Republicans & the far right for decades so I’m confused how the left is holding kids back when in South Carolina the “left” is a super minority. Perhaps the Senator should focus on his home state! #scpol

    Nearly a third of South Carolinians struggle to afford housing. I’m proud to announce that my bill, the SC Inclusionary Housing Act, has passed out of committee and will be brought to the House floor. This is a major step in the fight for more affordable housing in our state!

    Today I honored South Carolina Native Chadwick Boseman on the House floor for Black History Month. He left a legacy that still inspires many young children today and his passion to continue working while battling colon cancer is incredible. He certainly made South Carolina proud!

    Here’s to the beginning of South Carolina spending millions of taxpayers money to fight this legal battle which will likely take years. Yet we’ve spent most of our time in Columbia dealing with this which is going nowhere when we have so many pressing issues we could be taking up
