    I think we need to recognise the unsung heroes of #TheQueue. Because we all know that a spectacle of this scale is only possible due to the hard work and dedication of primary school teachers who taught these people the true art of lining up sensibly.🚶🚶🏻‍♂️🚶🏼‍♀️🚶🚶🏻‍♂️🚶🏼‍♀️🚶🚶🏻‍♂️🚶🏼‍♀️🚶🚶🏼‍♀️🚶🏼‍♀️🚶🚶🏻‍♂️

    Schools will never ‘close’. They will be open to vulnerable and key worker children. Alongside this, teachers will then work their backsides off to provide online learning for other children. Explain how that is the same as being furloughed?

    Somehow they always find a way to slag off teachers! Most schools I know didn’t have a staffroom whilst we were in lockdown!

    After weeks of keeping it quiet, I’m proud to share I’ve been awarded an MBE in the King’s Birthday Honours for services to education. This honour wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support network I’m so lucky to have around me. I’m endlessly grateful.

    - Unhappiest kids in Europe - Fewer children than ever reading for pleasure - School buildings crumbling - less than half the target of teacher trainees - Biggest retention crisis - Morale in the profession the lowest ever - Ofsted… The list goes on. They’re delusional

    📈 89% of schools are rated good or outstanding, up from 68% under Labour. 📚 Our primary school children are now the best readers in the western world. ⬆️ Our secondary school children have risen from 27th to 11th in maths & 25th to 13th in reading. Well said @RishiSunak 👏

    Just been to the @educationgovuk to meet @bphillipsonMP. I have hope our profession can once again be valued & treated with the respect it deserves. That starts at the top & after speaking to Bridget & the new schools minister @CMcKinnellMP I feel positive which is so refreshing.

    Good morning to everyone apart from Ofsted inspectors who think it’s a good and fair idea to inspect a school during SATs week! And have the audacity to ask teachers about their workload and wellbeing! Jokers!
