So good to have @wesstreeting in Newcastle. He really listened to the councillors who lost at the recent elections, and saw firsthand what it has meant for our area. Change must be genuine, and built from the ground up, for both our dedicated Labour councillors, and communities.

Abuse online is far too common, and we will not tolerate it. Tech companies have a moral duty to act by making it impossible for children to take, share or view nude images. If they don’t, we will legislate.

I am deeply saddened to learn that Lily was among the Navy personnel who lost their lives in the helicopter accident yesterday in Devon. Lily was a force of nature, the only serving female Commando, and inspiration to other young women - and frankly to me as well. When I met her
