- I'm deeply concerned that some children are attending political protests during the school day. Even more so if they're taking part in, or being exposed to, antisemitic chants. This should be treated with the utmost seriousness - missing school for activism is unacceptable.

The Department for Education have only updated their guidance for schools to ban their use during the school day. It remains the decision of schools to ban phones which most already do. gov.uk/government/newโฆ news.sky.com/story/gillian-โฆ - No ifs, no buts and no more excuses: parents have a right to know what their children are being taught. I have acted today to make clear that schools must share RSHE materials with parents.

- I am deeply concerned about reports of inappropriate RSHE lessons. Our urgent review will look at how the subject should be taught, protecting children and reassuring parents. I have also written to schools to remind them of their duty to show parents materials used in lessons.
