- I was expelled by the Labour Party as part of a purge despite putting on more fundraisers than anyone in Labour history - including two for Luciana Berger who has now been invited back into Labour after standing against the party in 2019.I left the Labour Party - what I always considered my political home - because of what happened to @lucianaberger, a heroine and friend. I rejoined last year in the confident hope things had changed - so could not be more relieved and pleased at how quickly things have changed
