    The people that trashed the Capitol recently and the people that trashed Portland and Seattle in the summer are two branches of the same anti-democracy movement. If you found yourself attacking one side but not the other, you might be the problem

    Been trying to explain to a single-mother friend why her son's play-fighting isn't wrong or unhealthy. In fact, it's an essential part of male development, and by stopping it and punishing him, she's storing up trouble for the future. Boys need men in their lives
