Sir, most of us, the students who protested yesterday, were not born then. Our sincere apologies for that.
For our inspiration please tell us how you helped the Kashmiri Pandits in 1990.
Where was your conscious hiding when lakhs of Kashmiri Pandits were driven away or brutally killed ...? This selective aakrosh has made many a liberals irrelevant ... Don’t become one ...
JNU is just one college.
There are nearly 40,000 colleges in India.
I understand it is important. But there is a limit to how much importance and attention one college gets.
There are more important issues in a country of 1.2bn people I am sure.
At St Stephen's today. Students boycott classes (very, very rare) to read the Preamble to the Constitution and to support and say #WeStandWithJNU. And #NoCAANoNRC
I was in college those days ... We protested under the banner of ABVP ... We collected money for their rehabilitation though it was very less ... By the way you were born when so many were killed by Commies in Kerala atleast ... Any protests ..?
Which part of "FREE KASHMIR" confuses @DelhiPolice and faux-nationalists? India is free, mostly. Kashmir isn't, for five months now. Kashmiris don't have the freedoms those of us in the rest of India take for granted. Give Kashmiris the same freedoms others Indians have. @CPDelhi
Delhi Police likely to act against student holding Kashmir poster at St Stephen’s protest

We read the Preamble to the Constitution of India.
The same Constitution gives minorities the right to run educational institutions and [vide Art.30(2)] receive aid from the State. Sorry if that is confusing you!
Delhi: Atishi Marlena Wins After Tense Fight | @AtishiAAP, 38, read history at St Stephen's, and followed that up by two MAs at Oxford University, on Chevening and Rhodes scholarships.
The chant of #AZADI - at IISc, the Indian Institute of Science.
From JNU to Jamia to St Stephen's to IISc .. and dozens of campuses across India. Students fight to keep India free, fight for the freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution of India.
Always nice to have two Stephanians debating, though as a motion "This House Believes that Nehru didn't like Patel" wouldn't have made it to even a Winterfest or DebSoc internal debate, let alone MukMem.
Rahul Ram of @AisiTaisiDemo on Pollution.
Rahul is a PhD in environmental toxicology from Cornell University. Before that, he did his MSc in chemistry from IIT Kanpur, following a BSc in chemistry from St Stephen's, and schooling at St Xavier's, Delhi.
IIT students have a lot on their plate, and there’s no student politics. 2002 saw a rare moment in IIT history, when 400 IIT Delhi students boycotted the Nilgiri Hostel mess to protest against warden Mamidala.
