    The Falkland Islands Community came together to mark the 39th Anniversary of the amphibious landings at San Carlos Bay which began the liberation of the Falkland Islands. We remember the bravery of all those involved. #WeWillRememberThem #OneCommunity

    In the early hours of the 21st of May 1982, British forces landed at San Carlos & began the recovery of the Falkland Islands. 40 years on,we commemorate those who laid down their lives to retake the islands and with it, the Falkland Islanders right to self-determination. #OneTeam

    On 14 Jun 1982, Pipe Major James Riddell sat atop Mt Tumbledown after victory and composed the now famous 'Crags of Tumbledown'. 40 Years on, LCpl Ross Fraser stands upon the very same peak, and plays the tune once more. #OneTeam #Falklands40 #Scots @scots_guards @BritishArmy

    Today BFSAI remembers Lt Nick Taylor of 800 Squadron Fleet Air Arm, Royal Navy, who was killed when his Sea Harrier aircraft was shot down on the 4th of May 1982. He was laid to rest in a quiet corner of Goose Green, close to where his aircraft came down. #OneTeam #RoyalNavy

    HMS Sheffield was the first British ship to be lost in enemy action since WW2 and the first of four Royal Navy ships to be sunk by the Argentine air force in the Falklands conflict. I am grateful that my father made it home. My thoughts go out to all who served on HMS Sheffield.

    40 years ago today, the Royal Navy destroyer HMS Coventry was sunk with the loss of 19 of her crew and a further 30 injured. To commemorate those that lost their lives, the crew of HMS Forth attended a memorial event at Pebble Island, West Falkland. #OneTeam #RoyalNavy
