We founded transcript in the late 1990s to create a space for transdisciplinary scholarship and new fields of research. Together with our series editors and several thousand authors, we are shaping a unique program landscape in which the disciplines of social and cultural sciences enter into an exchange and negotiate the issues of our time in a differentiated way.
In addition to the classic academic formats, this broad but carefully coordinated programme includes easy-to-read essays, handbooks and practical guides that also resonate outside of academia.
Our publication process is swift, flexible, and tailored to the individual needs of our authors and their projects.
Supervision
For each publication, you will be assigned a dedicated contact person who will guide you through the entire publication process. We will provide you with practical materials and useful tips in your personal digital author space.
Time frame
The publication process from the delivery of a complete manuscript to the release of the title takes an average of three to five months – if necessary this process can be accelerated according to your needs.
Presentation and distribution
While we prepare your publication, our PR, marketing and sales department connects with you to ensure the optimal presentation, visibility and distribution of your content in all reference fields.
