Jess Brownell is the current Showrunner of the Netflix and Shondaland hit series BRIDGERTON. Jess has been with Shondaland since 2008, where she initially held the role of one of Betsy Beers’ assistants. She went on to work as production staff on GREY’S ANATOMY and PRIVATE PRACTICE, as a writer and production staff on SCANDAL, and a writer and producer on INVENTING ANNA. She then began season 1 of BRIDGERTON as the executive story editor, rose to supervising producer in season 2, and has been the Showrunner since season 3. Jess graduated from USC.

Beth Schwartz is a Showrunner, TV Writer, and Producer who came up under Greg Berlanti’s mentorship. An experienced showrunner, she ran DC’s ARROW (CW), SWEET TOOTH (Netflix) and DEAD BOY DETECTIVES (Netflix), with additional TV credits including DC’s LEGENDS OF TOMORROW, HART OF DIXIE, and more.

David is a Manager and Producer who works at Entertainment 360. Previously, he worked as a manager at Sugar 23 and 3Arts. 

Jai Jamison is currently a Co-Producer on NCIS: ORIGINS (CBS). He previously worked as an Executive Story Editor on SUPERMAN & LOIS (The CW), where he wrote and directed multiple episodes. He’s also written comic books for DC Comics and Boom Studios including Creed: The Next Round in collaboration with LaToya Morgan, Michael B. Jordan, and Outlier Society. He’s previously worked on productions including Steven Spielberg’s LINCOLN, TURN (AMC), and SWAGGER (Apple+). 

Glenise Mullins currently works as the Co-EP of Memory of a Killer (Fox). Glenise’s past credits include The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power (Amazon Studios), The Continental: From the World of John Wick (Peacock), Star Trek: Discovery (Paramount +), Surface (Apple), Warrior (MAX), Outer Range (Amazon), and Invasion (Apple).

Duane Luu is Director of Drama Development at Peacock. He was previously Manager of Development at UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group, where he was part of the team responsible for such projects as the reimagination of the cult series “Battlestar Galactica” for Peacock and the TV series adaption of the hit film franchise “Chucky” for SYFY and USA Network – among many others. 

Ella Robinson Brooks is a television comedy writer based in Los Angeles. After graduating with a BA from Emerson College at the age of 20, she completed the NBCUniversal Page Program and worked as a PA on numerous shows before before staffing on the TBS comedy THE LAST O.G.. Since 2023 she has been staffed on Hulu’s ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING, where she is now a Co-Producer.

Karen Horne is currently the Executive Director of showrunner Mara Brock Akil‘s Writers’ Colony talent development program designed to nurture underrepresented writers. She was previously the Senior Vice President of Enterprise Inclusion for WarnerMedia where she oversaw inclusion programs and initiatives across the enterprise. She’s also worked as Senior Vice President, Programming Talent Development and Inclusion for NBC Entertainment and Universal Television Studios. 

An award-winning, BBC-commissioned writer for TV, film and performance, including writing on shows like BBC’s DOCTORS and mini-series SCRIPT SIRENS PRESENTS: SPECTRUM. Alexandra is also a core member of Midlands writing collective Script Sirens, a proud member of the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain and a trustee of the Journey LGBT+ Asylum Group. 

Sarah J. Eagen is a Screenwriter and Actor with experiences working as the Script Coordinator on FATAL ATTRACTION (Paramount+), head writer on THE VEIL (Voxx Studios) and WHAT’S YOUR PROBLEM (Generation Genius) and acting credits on THE BIG BANG THEORY (CBS), RUSH HOUR (CBS) and MY CRAZY EX (Lifetime). She is the Director of Contests at Shore Scripts.

Sean Charles is a Development & Production Manager at ALLBLK an AMC Networks property. Sean recently worked in Corporate Communications working across internal and external communications from the Sundance Film Festival. He also formed and led the inaugural Black employee resource group, Vested Interest in Black Employees (V.I.B.E), as Co-Chair from 2018-2021.

Bill is a drama showrunner and documentary maker for channels including Investigation Discovery, National Geographic, and the BBC. Bill also directs feature films and TV series – most recently an adaptation of THE THREE MUSKETEERS for Signature Entertainment and AMERICAN MONSTER for Arrow Entertainment. 

Jess was the lead writer and co-creator of the Netflix adaptation of GEEK GIRL. She has also written on shows such as HARLOTS, YOUNG WALLANDER, SANCTUARY and CATCH ME A KILLER. Jess has multiple projects in development with production companies and broadcasters in the UK and the US. The author of four novels, all published by Headline Review, Jess is known for her ability to work in different mediums and genres.

Teresa Huang is a graduate of the CBS Writers Mentoring Program and was named a WGA TV Writer Access Project honoree. Her television credits include SUPERSTITION (SYFY), MACGYVER (CBS), SEAL TEAM (CBS), and TOM SWIFT (The CW). She was most recently a Supervising Producer on AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER (Netflix).
