Tutoring
Do you need additional academic support for a hard class or want to prep for upcoming exams? Flexible virtual tutoring sessions are available to support your academic success. To sign up, reach out to your Manager of Education.
Affinity Groups
Join one of our Murphy Alumni-led Affinity Groups and connect with peers who share your experiences and identity: Latinx, Black, Boarding School, Girls, and Boys. Keep an eye out for an email from DMSF Staff to inform you of open applications.
Summer Opportunities
Each spring, Scholars can explore internships, jobs, and travel opportunities, with grant and scholarships available for summer trips. The virtual Summer Opportunities Fair takes place each winter—watch for a DMSF email to sign up!
College Counseling
Our college counseling team supports Scholars from campus visits to financial aid reviews and scholarship prep, ensuring a smooth college transition and journey. Personalized guidance starts junior year to help you plan your next steps.
Mentoring
Be matched with a working professional and receive support as you grow throughout high school. Applications for the mentoring program are open in both the fall and spring semesters of each academic year. Keep an eye out for an email from DMSF Staff to stay up to date on mentor opportunities.
Schmitt Scholars / Arthur’s Aspiring Leadership Groups
Our leadership programs provide leadership training to Murphy Scholars, preparing them for purposeful leadership through professional development, teamwork, and service projects. This requires a separate application and interview process.
Murphy Caddie Program
Caddying gives Murphy Scholars a paid job, valuable skills, and a chance to qualify for the Evans Scholarship, which covers full college tuition and housing. Info sessions take place each winter—watch for a DMSF email to apply!
