Folia Parasitologica
Folia Parasitologica was founded in 1954 as a national parasitological yearbook entitled “Československá parasitologie” that published articles in Czech. In 1966 it started to appear under its present name and to publish articles quarterly, in English. In the 1990s, Folia Parasitologica transformed from the periodical of still rather a local impact into a truly international journal. It is covered by most major abstracting and indexing services (ISI Web of Knowledge, BIOSIS, CAB Abstracts, MEDLINE, etc.).
Folia Parasitologica publishes original research articles, research notes and review articles. The subject scope covers all branches of animal parasitology, including morphology, taxonomy, biology, ecology, biochemistry, physiology, immunology and molecular biology of parasites, host-parasite relationships and parasite evolution. All submissions complying with this description will be given a prompt, critical and unbiased evaluation.

Owner: Entomological Society of Iran
Publisher: Tarbiat Modares University
Publication Period: QuarterlyJournal of Insect Biodiversity and Systematics is an international peer-reviewed journal accepting original articles and reviews dealing with insects and other arthropod's diversity and systematics, both extant and extinct taxa. The scope of articles that we publish includes but is not limited to taxonomic revisions, catalogues, monographs, nomenclatural notes, descriptions of the new taxa, applications of biology and anatomy in taxonomy, biodiversity, historical biogeography, phylogeny, evolution, Paleontology, theoretical methodology in systematics, biogeographical distributional patterns as well as regional checklists. The accepted submissions are not restricted to any geographical region, and we consider papers in the mentioned areas from all parts of the world. Extensive faunistic revisions on a specific arthropod group throughout a country or wider biogeographical region are highly encouraged. Manuscripts that are solely of local interest, like short checklists, local faunistic studies, and occasional species records, will not be considered for publication. Country species records that are sufficiently numerous and that are well-supported by a taxonomic and biogeographical background, particularly those related to species of economic importance, may be considered for publication after peer review.

Holotipus
HOLOTIPUS is an imprint committed to the publication of an online magazine and an editorial line such as books and special issues. Holotipus is aimed at technical and “contamination” publications, both sharing a focus on Science. It combines Taxonomic Science and Art/Design, a theoretical paradigm which involves Philosophy, Literature, Anthropology and all Visual Studies. Editors, Editors-in-Chief and Editorial Board members are selected by many academic fields to better face the contemporary challenges such as Coloniality, Feminism and Geopolitics in Science. Holotipus is a Catalan word, and is not a typo of Holotipos. Both share the same meaning but the first former gave us the chance to wield a clear mission: talking about a multiculturalism and anti-colonialist approach, i.e. restarting from the origins.
HOLOTIPUS journal of zoology, systematics and taxonomy is published exclusively online, open access; the journal follows a continuous publication model, with the online issuing of an annual volume, divided into two parts, each year. The journal publishes articles and editorials about alpha taxonomy, biodiversity, ecology, ethology, phylogenetic and cladistics studies, among others. All works are released in diamond open access, under the Creative Commons International license, without fees for authors or readers. All published articles are archived on LOCKSS, Biotaxa and Zenodo. This promotes their long-term storage.
