I am at the end of an extremely long day. Lately I have been going to bed early and barely being able to stay awake for even a half hour before I almost pass out into a deep sleep for a few hours. By morning I’ve usually been awake two, three or four times and probably one of those extends into an hour or longer.
I have also been waking in more pain than usual lately too… my back and my neck have both been acting up on me.
Today was productive with laundry, a trip to the barn to spend some time with those beautiful and crazy ponies and even adding a puppy-sitting session in, followed by a swim, all around managing to get editing done up to page 195… 60 pages, or 1/4 more to go! Those edits have been entered as well so not long now!
I was really hoping to get it all done by the end of this weekend because I do have my second story for the paper to return to as it’s been all but forgotten in the time I’ve been working on my novel.
My phone had a number of messages on it yesterday when I got home, one being from the paper! They have been very busy, understandably. I did call him this morning, even though it’s Saturday and we had a good chat!
Since my head is starting to hurt, again, I’m going to end it here. I do plan on, though it never happened last week, to getting a post up in the morning but that time seems to get consumed incredibly quickly!
