Our Services

At Women’s Health Northern Rivers, we provide a safe, inclusive, and confidential space where women can access a wide range of health and wellbeing services.

WHNR-Services-Women

Accessible Services for All Women

WHNR is a registered charity and not-for-profit organisation. This means all fees and donations are tax deductible and reinvested directly into our services to support women in our community.

We offer a sliding scale fee structure and by-donation model to ensure that cost is never a barrier to care. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, women facing financial hardship, including pensioners, Health Care Card holders, and those experiencing homelessness, or escaping violence will always have access to free care.

We kindly ask other women to contribute what they can to help us keep these services free for women who may otherwise be unable to access them.

Suggested Fees

Counselling:
$30 per session (sliding scale available based on your circumstances)

Groups and Workshops:
By donation

We understand that financial situations vary, and we’ll work with you to ensure you can access the care and support you need, regardless of your ability to pay.

Together, we can ensure that every woman has access to the care she deserves.

Acknowledgement of Country

Women’s Health Northern Rivers acknowledges the Widjabul Wia-bal people of the Bundjalung Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live, work, and play.

We pay deep respect to Elders past and present, and honour the leadership of emerging Elders.

We extend our respect to all Bundjalung clan groups, and recognise the ongoing cultural and spiritual connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to Country – land, waters and sky.

We especially acknowledge the Bundjalung women who continue to care for Country, and the knowledge, wisdom and stories they share.

We are grateful to live and work on this land, and remain committed to walking together towards better health and social outcomes.
