Sir, it has been brought to my attention that the brigades would need some trust building exercises. As I have no other responsibilities at the moment, I've taken the task of organizing the event myself. However, I would like to request that the schedule could be modified slightly for the event.

Also, I would like to request a permission for a short trip outside the camp for the purposes of getting a better idea of the surrounding terrain as well as our defenses and security.

Another question -- yeah, I'm just full of 'em today. Hear me out, though, okay? It's kind of important.

Regarding elemental affinity -- which of you know what I'm referring to? What's your strength? Your weakness?



For those of you who are scratching your heads and wondering what the goofy kid is talking about ... uh, just listen for a moment. Back home, most types of magic are elemental-based. Fire, lighting, water, earth, wind -- each can be controlled by use of runes embedded in the body, but the strength of that magic is based on two factors: the potential of the rune itself, and the ability inherent to the one that bears it. If a person has an affinity for water, but chooses a fire rune, it's useless -- they might be able to do something eventually, but it'll take forever, and the result will be laughably weak. But give them a water rune, and it's a completely different story.

By that same token, generally that person who interacts well with water will also be particularly vulnerable to damage from fire, but strong against those whose affinity is lightning, and so on. There are more practical applications as well, but this is the basis. If I had a tutor handy -- ah, never mind. Maybe someday.

Also, if there are glaring differences between the system I've described here and what you're familiar with, please explain!

Regarding the outbreak of strange creatures earlier ... I can't even fathom the reason for, or the point of such a thing. How irritating it is that the battle I've been closest to in this place is one in our base. Still, a victory is a victory, and there's certainly little to be done about it now ...

Generals, a request if you will. Assistant gener -- ah, Right-Hand Men -- if your superior officer is otherwise occupied, I ask you instead.

At your earliest convenience, I would very much appreciate a list of your soldiers and their abilities, whether they are ah, natural or supernatural, as well as notable qualities -- a propensity for leadership, superior calm under duress -- that sort of thing. Ranked by strength as well, if possible.

In writing, if you would be so kind. I find I still cannot trust the security of these devices, and I would hate to give our enemies such an advantage. Please deliver these reports to cabin seven -- or I can collect them from you, if that's easier. Likewise, if your reports are not exhaustive, all will be well. I'd ... simply like a basic idea of what we're working with, and where we may be lacking.

As a new arrival and an officer of this country, I wish to learn more my "comrades". If we are to be cohesive as a country, then I would suggest answering this inquiry.

I'm putting in a request to assume his position as Right Hand Man in the first brigade. I believe it would make better use of my abilities, and benefit the efficiency of the brigade.

If possible, I would also like to request that Eve be transferred from the second brigade to the position of Strategist that I would be leaving in the first brigade.
