Projects

A project is a curated list of samples (optionally from multiple studies). If you are doing a comparison like roots vs leaves, export two or more projects, one per case.

Building the data set

Computed data (🧬) and QC (📈) are comparable to that you see for study entries in the main table. However in the case of your specific project, they contain your specific sample, study and transcriptome selection.

Projects you created are not visible for other normal users.

You can edit project settings at any time—rename the project and, most importantly, select the transcriptomes you want to use.

Building the data set

After updating the settings, start the project to launch the calculations.

When the run completes, download links become available for:

  • Project-specific QC sheet (overview of inputs and processing).
  • Processed project data, including:
  • Annotated metadata in structured YAML.
  • Gene expression matrices in Parquet and CSV formats.

This platform does not attempt to replace your scientific analysis with a point-and-click GUI. In our experience, most researchers prefer to analyze data in their own environment using established frameworks and languages.
