Vcinity started by creating ASICs and appliances to help the US National Research Laboratory and US National Reconnaissance Office to develop a more efficient, hyper-secure way to move and access data high bandwidth and high latency networks. But data access challenges weren’t limited to the federal space, and Vcinity pivoted to create a software solution that could be deployed across the virtually any enterprise environment.
Data volumes and compute power for today’s AI workloads are now dramatically outpowering the ability to access the data to fuel them. A technology ahead of a its time, Vcinity is meeting the market to enable real-time access to decentralized and remote data.
