The Tiger and the Thorn
A well-known story tells us about Androcles and the lion.
It is told that Androcles helped the tiger get rid of a thorn.
One good turn deserves another….
When Androcles was later sentenced to be cast to the savage beasts,
it was the same tiger and it kept the other savage beasts away from him.
Then the grateful, but hungry lion had Androcles to himself.
Androcles was surely a lucky fellow.
