PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) develops when the brain gets stuck in a state of fear and hypervigilance after experiencing or witnessing a traumatic event. Common signs include flashbacks, nightmares, avoiding reminders of the trauma, emotional numbness, sudden outbursts of anger, and feeling constantly on edge. If these experiences are affecting your daily life, reaching out to one of our therapists is a great first step toward understanding what you’re going through.
We work with survivors of many types of trauma including physical and sexual assault, abuse, childhood trauma, abandonment, car accidents, disasters, and more. Trauma affects people differently — what matters isn’t how the event compares to others, but how it has impacted you. All experiences are valid here.
PTSD is highly treatable. With the right support and evidence-based approach, many people experience significant relief and go on to live full, healthy lives. You don’t have to stay stuck in survival mode — healing is possible, and we’re here to help you get there.
Our therapists are trained in trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches for treating PTSD. Treatment is always personalized to your specific history, needs, and comfort level. We never rush the process — your safety and pace guide everything we do.
No — you will never be pushed to share more than you’re ready to. Effective trauma therapy is not about reliving every detail of what happened. It’s about helping your nervous system feel safe again and building the tools to move forward. Your therapist will always follow your lead.
Yes — trauma can affect people of all ages and we work with children, teens, and adults. Our therapists are trained to work with younger clients in age-appropriate, supportive ways that meet them where they are.

Yes — we offer telehealth in addition to in-person sessions. Telehealth can be especially helpful for people who find it difficult to leave home or who live far from one of our offices. Coverage for telehealth depends on your insurance plan — we’ll sort that out with you when you reach out.
