At Transformative Growth Counseling, we are a trauma-informed and social-justice-minded organization committed to making mental health care accessible, inclusive, and effective. We believe healing begins with connection, compassion, and culturally responsive support. Our licensed and experienced counselors provide services that empower individuals, families, and communities to achieve meaningful growth and lasting change. In addition to direct clinical care, we contribute to the body of knowledge in our field by conducting institutional research, developing evidence-based programs, and partnering with schools, universities, and organizations to address community mental health needs at scale.
As a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we offer therapy through both in-person and virtual care to ensure mental health support is available to as many people as possible across communities in Illinois, Georgia, Florida, Arizona, New York, Ohio, South Carolina, and Texas. We provide approximately $1.25 million in free and discounted therapy to our communities. Whether through individual counseling, couples and family therapy, school-based programs, or community partnerships, our mission remains the same: to close the care gap and make mental health services accessible to all. We believe every person has the potential for growth and transformation — and we’re here to help make that possible.
