Welcome to our Coffee Classes
Welcome to The Lab by Thread Coffee Roasters, our program for coffee enhancement and education. Designed for home baristas, coffee enthusiasts, and professionals. Our public classes are suited for the home barista as well as professional baristas looking to sharpen their craft. Our classes are small and offer hands-on experience in an intimate setting while always being fun, thoughtful, and educational. We offer modules in Espresso Workshop and Latte Art Masterclass on a regular basis. Private classes are available for one-on-one experience with a professional barista. We create accessible learning for all levels of coffee enthusiasts. We look forward to sharing a coffee with you!
Private Lessons
$130-$205

We’re pleased to offer private classes in our training lab tailored to your unique goals and interests. In this intimate one-hour private session, you’ll meet with one of our coffee experts to take a deep dive into the topic of your choice. It can be taken one-on-one or in a pair (if you’d like to bring a friend). Areas of focus include, but are not limited to:
- Latte Art
- Espresso Calibration/Tasting
- Pour Over or Manual Brewing Techniques
- Beverages Construction (Latte, Cappuccino, Machiato, Cortado)
Please note that each of these subjects require 1 hour to cover; if you’d like to cover more than one category in a session, keep in mind you might have to purchase multiple sessions to adequately cover all the materials. Don’t see what you’re looking for? If you have a specific goal in mind that isn’t listed above, we’d be happy to customize a session for you!
Book using the calendar for Fridays in our lab. If you would like to request a specific day/time, buy as a gift or email us at orders@threadcoffee.com to set up a special session.
