Here I go being over-analytical again... would you post a song thats your lowest on your "favorites" list, or a song that you actually just don't like/ borderline hate??

I'm gonna go with a secondary favorite song, since my list of favorite songs is really long I'll pick a song from the bottom of that list. my criteria for fav song is I have to be able to listen to it no matter how I'm feeling, happy or sad, i'm always in a mood for one of my favorites. this one is definitely lower on the favs list, but i tend to sing along with it when it comes on....

Today is the first saturday in over a month that we have to ourselves I'm starting mine out with looney tunes and coffee after of course sleeping in till TEN friggen AM! wheee :D

mermaids, they can breathe under water.... i've always wished i could do that. the idea of scuba diving makes me claustrophobic (limited oxygen supply) and i cant even snorkel properly bc my brain keeps thinkign "im under water, and breathing wait wtf??" and i can never catch my breath, its like im running a marathon, and constantly breathing heavy its frustrating...

sooo cold!

not to mention I kept waking up fro weird dreams in a cold sweat, that made me even COLDER ugh i hate that.
so at least i got to sleep late to make up for it, crawled out around 1pm, which i normally hate but on cold days its not so bad.

at least i got to spike my coffee with frangelico tee hee

watching Dr Who today, considering going somewhere, but idk when/where/with who, etc. also the idea of going out in this cold is reeally not my fav idea, just kinda wanna get out.

I did get to get out Sunday night, which helped take my mind off things, went to Firkin & Phoenix, paid $10 for chicken fingers, but the drinks were kick ass amazing.

I want to go on a double date, or something romantic or neither, or both, idk... im so weird.

Started my day with CBS sunday morning just like I've been trying to do every sunday since, bc its soemthing that always was comforting, hearing charles osgoods voice, meant dad was home. So I try to carry on the 'tradition' of watching some POSITIVE news for once, though this morning it focused a lot on the Congresswoman shot :\

I love that now I can DVR it and sleep in and still start my sunday with that and coffee no matter how late :)
ordered pizza in for lunch considering its a dreary cold day outside, and im grouchy and freezing inside (i've been a lil stubborn about buying a heater for the house)

Yes I am alive!

I've been eagerly reading my friends list as of late, so to all those I need to catch up with, instead of commenting you get shout outs! (after the post)

I have a horrid cough, its been torturing me mostly late at night, no matter where i am around 10-11pm sitting up or laying down im still hacking up a lung... so i've taken to taking the max amount of cough suppressant b4 bed just to rest...
bleh.... this has been goin on a lil over a week, maybe two.... coughing a lot makes me feel hot, so i've taken to standing in front of the a/c vent when one comes on real bad >_< god, if thats what hot flashes are like i never want menopause!

I dreamt about random ppl from work this morning (i took a nap from 7-11am) one girl i know who also doesnt like other girls, and mostly hangs around guys.... me & her were hunting down my car in like a super multi story mall, and the automotive part was on level 6.... was super random.... we've only hung out once, and before that she scared the shit outta me (shes one of those that actually can do a successful evil eye) lol shes actually kinda cool tho...

I'm sitting in front of my TV drinking Earl Grey Tea, its the best substitute for coffee i've found since my cough.... i add a touch of honey instead of sugar and ya know what? i actually am really liking it! not to mention the white tea i drink on the occasions i DONT want the caffeine... so maybe i'll make the switch permanent.. who knows? :)

anyway anyone in the houston area, stop by any night after tonight, after 6pm and i'll be serving at Red Robin off I-10 (the marq*e)

also: i love old school tom & jerry and the entire Boomerang network! and we have a dvr now! and the sleuth channel! and i'm DVR-ing EVREY doctor who that comes on BBCA (which we also have now!!! whoo!!) tho i'd prolly be better off torrenting Dr. who..... hmmmm ..... anyway thats my update..

I think I'm slowly adopting the "wtf there's life outside the loop?!" mentality... while lookin for apartments I mentioned considering outside the loop and remember getting looks, now that im here and committed I feel like "what? why leave? you wanna hang out where? nah, call me when you come inside the loop tho.... " haha!!

Had some dreams last night, all of which involved moving to a new apt, each time a new dream started I was moving INTO the new place, once I was with my cousin, and she noted all the shoes in the closet already (relatively new) that weren't mine but were my size (i.e. i got to keep them lol) the next me & forrest were looking at places, and one we walked in was lived in, but had a pretty big closet with a pull-out desk, (pulled out like a drawer from the wall), and the last one I had just moved in and was bout to get into the shower and had nothing but my shirt (upper half of clothing) on and a guy friend that lived near by (familiar but not familiar enough) just decided to walk in, and tho in the dream he looked like justin long *sighs dreamily* I still told him off for just walkin in without knocking, he was like "well i knew you were home" i'm liek "yes but i like to walk around naked and you're not privy to that sight whenever the hell u want :P" lol fun times.

also got a full time job at Red Robin as a Hostess, not what I was aiming/hoping for, but its a start, and its supplemental income
and as much as i cringe to say it, i'll work my way into serving or bar tending b/c thats where more money is.

also severe pain in my neck GRR worst feeling ever. :(

I definitely enjoy my modern technology so probably am glad i grew up WHEN i did, though I sometimes wish I were raised somewhere else, maybe a place where I would've learned 4 languages by age 18 and be all sophisticated and stuff. meh. weird.

Tornados.

I dont know why. I can't watch the weather channel b/c commercials of it, and I have a panic attack when theres a tornado warning in the area.... granted I spent the first 10 years of my life in a trailer house so that MIGHT have something to do with it.
yes i still wake up in the middle of the night w/ random nightmares about tornados.

moms takin a road trip! i get to tag along and stop at the monterey bay aquarium!! *PSYCHED**!!!!!

So yesterday I was driving home from my uncles (about two hours west of where I live) and I-10 is a straight shot, so I tend to see interesting things on the road, but last night was one of my favs, as I was leaving Smalltown, TX, the moon was nearly full and just rising above the horizon, in a beautiful shade of red, then as I got closer to the city the buildings would get progressively taller, but as I went, the moon got progressively higher and by the time I saw the Houston Skyline on the near Horizon, there it sat between a few buildings, like it'd been waiting for just me to see it, oh how I wish I had a print screen button attached to my eyes, as I couldn't pull over and take the pic, (didn't I mention I was on a highway?!)

anyway, just had to share that with ya'll!

city definitely, I grew up in the country with my nearest neighbor a mile away, and bullfrogs lulling me to sleep, which, the latter part I did like, but now I walk out my front door and I can see the skyline. I LOVE THAT! I still get all gooey and giddy when i see it again on my way home... Im in a nice safe neighborhood and a small close knit apt complex, I really like it here couldnt ask for better

I've heard the average cost of raising a child is $400,000, most likely including college, but still, I decided, when I get married, instead of actually having a kid, I'll make a savings account. In this savings account I'm going to put the amount I'd spend on a kid each week. Formula & diapers & new clothes every 3 months for the first year, minus of course about $500 worth of stuff I'd estimate for a baby shower... so I go get the prices for each thing add it up and stuff it into savings... at the end of the year (or two) take a vacation or buy something fun & extravagant :)

1st year: Formula diapers, couple baby outfits, then a lil baby food
2nd year more clothes, slightly less diapers, slightly less formula
etc...

if i could keep it up for 18 years and completely omit the amount spent on hospitals dr. appts, & college I'd have quite a good lil chunk of change :D

So i get it in my head that i'm motivated and determined to get up earlier... I go to bed at ten-ish next thing I know its after 1 and I'm still awake GRRR.... my alarm went off at 6ish, i successfully snoozed till my normal 9ish... UGH... not to mention SEVERAL vivid dreams, all after 5am... through 9am... why am I dreaming so much?! why do I wake up exhausted!?? I'm fine once 9 rolls around because the sun has risen enough that it actually pokes through our window over the house next door, but today I'm still groggy and forgetful and clumsy, though I had a grande latte already. *yawn* <_< really? a yawn? its already after noon! I wake up just fine when I dont dream, but last night I remember feeling held down, like i literally couldnt move in my dreams, and I was achey after I woke up.... one of those days i guess...
