By leveraging technology, Sheria Kiganjani bridges the legal gap, enabling 24/7 access to legal support and information, and ensuring all Tanzanians can claim their rights regardless of legal knowledge or income.

Her Initiative

Her Initiative is a dynamic, women-led non profit organization dedicated to challenging and breaking the cycle of poverty among young women. By harnessing the power of technology, Her Initiative seeks to reshape societal norms that hinder the progress of girls, fostering financial resilience and empowerment among adolescent girls and young women in Tanzania. Through innovative approaches that integrate economic empowerment with technology, Her Initiative is at the forefront of creating meaningful change and promoting the value and potential of girls in society.

Hakizetu

Hakizetu, meaning "Our Rights," in Swahili, is dedicated to championing human and economic rights while prioritizing the needs of vulnerable women and girls who are survivors of violence in Tanzania. Their mission revolves around two fundamental pillars: promoting livelihood development and advocating for sexual reproductive health rights. Hakizetu is committed to empowering young women and youth, offering vocational training, business incubation, and entrepreneurship programs aimed at fostering economic independence for women and girls.

Songambele

Songambele, derived from the Swahili phrase "To move on," is an organization dedicated to advocating awareness and social inclusion for women and girls with disabilities. Operating in Tanzania, their mission is to promote and encourage good health, education, wellbeing, and social integration for women, girls, and children facing disabilities. Through their initiatives, they strive to create a more inclusive society where individuals with disabilities are empowered to thrive and contribute positively to their communities.

Reaching the Unreached Tanzania (RUT)

RUT is a Tanzanian organization advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights while promoting access to justice for marginalized groups. Through evidence-based interventions, RUT supports adolescent girls, young women, youth, and children. Pamoja Youth Initiative

The Iringa Development of Youth, Disabled, and Children Care (IDYDC)

The Iringa Development of Youth, Disabled, and Children Care (IDYDC) is a long-standing Tanzanian organization empowering youth, people with disabilities, and marginalized communities. For over 30 years, IDYDC has driven grassroots change through vocational training, entrepreneurship programs, and community-based support. The organization promotes economic empowerment, financial inclusion, and social justice while advancing health, education, environmental sustainability, and rights advocacy.

Rukwa Sustainable Development Organisation - RUSUDEO

Rukwa Sustainable Development Organization (RUSUDEO) is a Tanzania-based NGO established in 2001, headquartered in Sumbawanga. It promotes sustainable development by empowering youth, women, and marginalized groups through climate action, sustainable agriculture, WASH, good governance, and economic empowerment initiatives.

Empowerment of Marginalized Communities (E-MAC Tanzania)

E-MAC Tanzania is a registered NGO operating since 2013 in mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar. It empowers marginalized groups through youth economic empowerment, WASH, environmental conservation, and public health, using community-driven, inclusive approaches aligned with national and global development goals.

Tanzania Albinism Society (TAS Morogoro)

TAS Morogoro, established in 1996 as a regional branch of Tanzania Albinism Society, operates across nine district councils in Morogoro. It empowers persons with albinism and other disabilities through advocacy, awareness, capacity building and climatic change, improving access to inclusive healthcare, education, livelihood and disability rights.

Girls Awareness and Empowerment in Tanzania (GAET)
