mHub

mHub is Malawi’s first technology and innovation hub located in Lilongwe, Malawi with a working space in Blantyre, Malawi, and Lusaka, Zambia. The hub has facilitated over 1 million USD in financing to emerging entrepreneurs over 5 years creating more than 950 jobs and impacting over 5,000 people in diverse value chains. The hub has trained over 40,000 youths with business and technology skills.

Emerge Livelihoods

Emerge Livelihoods provides business development support services with a key focus on business incubation programs, technology integration programs, seed capital financing, networking events, co-working, and meeting facilities for emerging entrepreneurs. They facilitate this through skills and knowledge transfer, information sharing, and provision of necessary resources, networks, and opportunity linkages.

Life Concern

Life Concern, founded in 2008 and based in Northern Malawi, empowers rural and marginalized communities through sustainable development. Focusing on youth and women’s empowerment, the organization combines leadership and entrepreneurship training with work in health, education, and food security. Life Concern promotes self-reliance by equipping individuals with practical tools for long-term growth.

Timveni

Timveni is a youth-led media organization in Malawi, founded in 2011 to amplify the voices of children and young people. It uses radio, television, and social media to promote youth participation, talent development, and engagement on issues that affect their lives. Timveni drives change through advocacy, awareness, and entertainment, linking youth with decision-makers and encouraging accountability at all levels.

Women for Sustainable Agile Development (WOSAD)

WOSAD is a women-led, Malawian-based NGO established in 2018 that is dedicated to empowering women and youth through participatory sustainable development. The organization strives to create a society where women and girls are healthy, protected from exploitation, and fully empowered to realize their potential within an inclusive digital economy.

Rays of Hope

Rays of Hope Ministries is a local, faith-based nonprofit that uses transformative education to strengthen teachers, support learners, and provide financial inclusion solutions to youth for a productive life. By integrating academic innovation with economic empowerment, Rays of Hope removes both financial and non-financial barriers, ensuring that every participant is equipped with the tools to achieve long-term self-reliance and spiritual growth.

NxtGen Labs

NxtGen Labs is a registered private innovation lab based in Lilongwe, Malawi. It is the country’s largest private space dedicated to education and innovation in emerging technologies, including Internet of Things, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and robotics. Through its specialized curriculum and collaborative ecosystem, the lab provides the next generation of Malawian tech leaders with the practical expertise needed to drive local solutions and lead the continent's digital transformation.

HeR Liberty

HeR Liberty is a Malawi-registered, youth and young-women-led nonprofit founded in 2017. It advances gender equality by empowering adolescent girls and young women while engaging boys as allies, delivering programs in health, governance, education, and economic empowerment that have reached over 5,000 youth. Through these inclusive initiatives, the organization dismantles systemic barriers to ensure every young person has the agency and resources to lead a self-determined life.

Umunthu Plus

Umunthu Plus is a Malawi-based NGO founded in 2015 and registered with the Government of Malawi, NGO Bo, and CONGOMA. It empowers women, youth, and girls through sustainable agriculture, vocational and green skills, entrepreneurship, and ICT integration, advancing climate resilience, economic independence, and inclusive development.By bridging the gap between traditional livelihoods and modern technology, the organization fosters long-term self-reliance and environmental stewardship.

Young Women Rise (YOWORI)

YOWORI is a women-led, youth-serving organization in Malawi, established in 2016, operating in Chiradzulu and Neno districts. It focuses on women and youth economic empowerment, ending gender-based violence, improving access to SRHR services, and promoting girls’ education. By providing a voice to the voiceless and renewed hope to the hopeless, YOWORI creates safer, more inclusive environments where young women can break cycles of poverty and reclaim their futures.
