I am no longer using Livejournal. I will no longer be updating this code except to fix serious bugs. Feel free to take it and fix it up as you like.

(I've decided that "Basic Functionality" is the name of this layout. Because when LJ is a dick to its users, its users get to be dicks right back.)

Hey! So. Livejournal kind of blows right now, am I right?

Until (a) they revert the changes, or (b) someone comes up with a custom layout that looks exactly like the old comment pages used to, I'm using my shoddy, patchwork CSS learnings (and a LOT OF HELP from other people!) to come up with something that's not exactly awful.

If you're okay with the new comment pages, or if you were already using custom comment pages of your own to view everything: Keep on trucking! Otherwise, hopefully this will help.

[ On Tuesday morning, a small package is delivered to the Harvey household. It contains a familiar-looking black cape and skirt, which Golbez automatically hangs in a closet -- that outfit is hardly practical to wear right now.

Is he supposed to be grateful for this, too? For being given back what was already his? ]

I'm looking for information on the technology of this world. In most regards, my own is much less advanced that this one -- cars, telephones, radios, and the like are all new to me, and I would like to know more about them. It was suggested I speak with a man named Quinn Hatch, but I would be grateful for answers from anyone.

I'm also interested in learning to use a gun. I'm willing to pay for lessons.
