Who We Are

The Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association is the largest mountain bike nonprofit in the Southeast with 48 chapters spanning across eight states. We work with local chapters across the Southeast to expand access to thoughtfully planned trails that connect people, strengthen communities, and inspire outdoor recreation. Together, we are building a future where strong local organizations lead the way in creating accessible and progressive trail systems for everyone.

changes to sorba and chapter membership in 2025

We are going back to our roots, and taking membership back to SORBA. By bringing membership home to the Southeastern regional level, we will support our chapters even better, and help connect communities even stronger. This is a new initiative for the future of Mountain Biking in the Southeast, and it takes all of us to make this happen, so thank you!
