La Cathédrale Engloutie
Title can't be empty.

As usual, there are a couple of oops spots, but this is one of my favorite Debussy pieces, because you can follow the narrative of what's going on in the music like a story. From Wikipedia:
"This piece is based on an ancient Breton myth in which a cathedral, submerged underwater off the coast of the Island of Ys, rises up from the sea on clear mornings when the water is transparent. Sounds can be heard of priests chanting, bells chiming, and the organ playing, from across the sea. Accordingly, Debussy uses certain harmonies to allude to the plot of the legend, in the style of musical impressionism."
See if you can hear the cathedral rising up, hear the priests chanting, hear the bells ringing, and ultimately hear the Cathedral sink back into the sea.

*applause* Bravo! Bravo! *smiles*
I'll have to start working on more Debussy. I've exhausted my existing repertoire as far as he's concerned. I've still got some Beethoven and Rachmaninoff left in me, though. Those'll probably be next. I'm hoping to get a mic for Christmas, which would make recording more songs, well...possible. *sighs*
Thanks for the fave and vote! I'm really glad you enjoyed it. Your support is greatly appreciated, as always.
And that is most promising! I shall be lining up for seats at the spot with the best acoustics! *smiles*
And thank you, again, for sharing your art with those of us who can appreciate it, but...can't produce themselves. *smiles*
Also, small part I can be annoying with, please, it's La Cathédrale Engloutie, not Le =)
