Manual or Digital Microblading is a permanent cosmetic procedure that enhances the appearance of eyebrows by creating fine, hair-like strokes with pigment. A manual, handheld tool with tiny, sterile needles is used to deposit pigment into the upper layer of the skin, mimicking the look of natural eyebrow hair.

How the process works:

Numbing: A topical numbing cream is applied to the eyebrow area to minimize discomfort. While the numbing acts, we perform a very complete and explanatory consultation, from healing process, products to be used and consent forms.

A technician consults with the client to determine the desired shape, style, and color. We have a big screen in our office so we can browse over 500 performed jobs available in our instagram. After analysing the client´s facial features and lifestyle, we then “map” the eyebrows by drawing an outline that complements the client’s facial structure.

Which is the difference between Manual Microblading and Digital Microblading?

Manual Microblading: Using the handheld tool, the technician creates precise, featherweight incisions in the skin and fills them with cosmetic pigment. Each individual stroke is designed to blend in with the client’s existing brow hair.

Digital Microblading: Digital microblading is an advanced, permanent cosmetic tattooing technique that uses a digital machine with a fine needle to create realistic, hair-like strokes for fuller, more defined eyebrows. Unlike traditional manual microblading, which uses a handheld blade, the digital method offers enhanced precision, less skin trauma, and more durable results.

Healing and touch up: The eyebrows will appear darker and bolder immediately after the procedure. Over the next several weeks, they will heal, scab, and the color will soften. A follow-up touch up session is typically needed about six to eight weeks later to perfect the shape and fill in any areas where the pigment didn’t fully take.

– How it works?

Manual Microblading uses a handheld tool with ultra-fines needles to deposit pigment under the skin, mimicking natural brow hairs. Digital Microblading uses a digital method (machine and very small tiny needle with enhanced precision, less skin trauma, and more durable results.

– Results:
Lasts up to 24 months with proper aftercare.

– Healing: Expect some scabbing and fading in the first 2 weeks. A touch up is recommended and mandatory after 6-8 weeks to make it perfect!

Ideal for: Clients with thin, uneven, or patchy brows who want a natural look. The strokes are made to blend with yoyr natural hairs, making it hard to notice which ones are actually tattooed on the skin.

If you are not sure which technique will fit you better, don´t worry: when you get to our office for your appointment we will have the opportunity to see and touch your skin and we will be able to advice you properly.
