Manifestation

What is the metaphysical nature of it?

Readership: All

Intro

Over the past couple of years or so, there has been a sharp increase in the focus on metaphysical phenomenon.

A lot of these content producers are women, not surprisingly.  The only women who are NOT solipsistic, and who therefore have something interesting to add to the cultural discussion, are those who have developed an awareness of the metaphysical.  But this is no coincidence.  Solipsism is the default state when metaphysical awareness is absent.

Most of the time, this appears as something rather dark and manipulative, like W!tchcr@ft. Here, we see people have discovered the power of the human mind, of faith, and mysticism without really understanding what is going on or how it works.

Thus Saith Ye Olde Red Pill Lore

Red Pill wisdom has become the new standard.

Intro

Back in 2018, I noticed that there exists a certain consciousness conveyed through certain themes, topics, and trends that swept through the Manosphere and the wider internet, and that these ontological concepts and paradigms extended for a period of about 21 months, which I called an “Internet Age”. At that time, I decided to write review summaries of happenings within the Manosphere during these periods.

Is Mysticism Ecumenical?

Perceiving the power and glory of God is not unique to Christianity.

Intro

A while back, one controversial commenter, Aaron MacDonald*, had the idea that I was singlehandedly allowing the Christian Manosphere to be taken over by Islam by allowing historical architectural landmarks to be attributed to Muslim interpretations.

Whut!?! Yeah… Right! /S

His question,

“Is this an attempt at “Abrahamic Religions” unity?”

brought a smile to my face.

To be clear, I am not making any attempt to unite Abrahamic Religions or whatever.

However, I do have a few things to say about ecumenicalism — as seen through the lens of Mysticism. Perhaps if I explain my views more clearly, I can alleviate any remaining confusion.

Mysticism and Tennis

Sports provide a real connection between psychology and reality.

Intro

I’ve played tennis since 2002.  Believe it or not, I’ve learned a lot about Frame, masculine presence, and mystical awareness from playing this game.  It’s also increased my faith and confidence.

When I first started playing, I bought a really cheap racket (an aluminum-railed Prince). But after my first season, I was getting better at it, and I enjoyed it more. So I decided to buy a better racket.

Since good quality rackets are rather expensive, I did some research on it, and I talked with my friend about how to select a good racket.  We also went to a large sports equipment store and looked at what they had.  I was a little confused, because some rackets seemed very similar to others, but were priced much differently.

Case Study — Biblical Gender Roles Mistakes the Nature of Discernment

I think BGR has some of the best stuff in (what’s left of) the Christian Manosphere, but there is one point in this post that I strongly disagree with.

“David’s son, King Solomon, was a Wiseman who built his kingdom with his mind.”

Biblical Gender Roles: You Don’t Have To Be A Jock To Be A Godly Masculine Man – Nerds Can Be Too (2021/12/27)

No. Solomon was gifted with wisdom from the Lord above in response to his prayer to be a wise king.

Noteworthy Points from the Christian Mysticism Debate

There’s an apparent schism in the Christian Blogosphere over Christian Mysticism, but why?  What is the core issue of contention?

Over at The Orthosphere, Kristor wrote an exposition On Finding the True Way to Life (2022/7/24), which explores the interplay between individual faith and institutional Church authority in achieving Christian salvation, inspired by a commentary from Bruce Charlton.

This post was part of a larger discussion going on in the Christian Blogosphere between Francis Berger, Bruce Charlton, Kristor, Alan Roebuck, J. M. Smith, and others participating in the comments sections, about the validity, value, place, and purpose of Christian Mysticism, and how this is affecting traditional ecclesiastical Christianity.  (A list of these posts can be found here.)  I believe this debate was important because the current emergence of Christian Mysticism will become a significant movement in the history of Christianity.  We are witnessing its conception right Here and Now.

The Heart-Led Way

Authentic Faith emanates from the heart, NOT from the rational mind.

Intro

I’ve been asked to review the meaning of “Heart-Led” in the context of this blog.

A major element of the Radix Fidem covenant is bouncing off the prevailing American culture and mainstream Christian religion, showing how they are wrong. Thus, we first have to point out what most people believe, and why it’s wrong.

The core problem is Aristotle. Not the man and his teaching so much as the influence he’s had on American thinking. He denied the existence of a Spirit Realm. He insisted that, if there were gods, they were restricted to this realm of existence. This world, as we experience it, is all there can be. Further, he insisted that human capabilities — reason in particular — were sufficient to grasp all that matters. He denied the Fall and insisted that humans were perfectible, at least in terms of logic and reason.

The Birth Pangs of Christian Mysticism

For legalists and staunch religiosos, Mystical Musings are like fingernails scratching a chalkboard.

Just as I foretold back in August of 2022, Christian Mysticism is slowly rising.

But it is, apparently, a hard White Pill to swallow for many, especially those who cling fast to Sola Scriptura and/or a post-modern, Feministic, Positivist outlook.  (But ever since Dalrock et al. exposed the church’s convergence with Feminism, I wonder, what are the apparent differences anymore?)

Maybe this resistance to mysticism is less obvious to readers, so here’s my view of it.

Rationalism — November Summary

Reviewing the Rationale.

Readership: All
Theme: Rationalism
Length: 400 words
Reading Time: 2 minutes

Intro

The theme for the month of November 2025 was Rationalism.

Honestly, I don’t know how I do it (except by the inscrutable impartations from the gracious Lord above), but I’m amazed at how well I can predict the overall tone and topics of the Based Sphere / Manosphere in advance.  Looking back at all that has been said and written this month, if I could sum up all the discussion in one word, Rationalism pretty well nails it.

Here are the noteworthy posts that appeared around the Based / Manosphere this month, listed by categories.

Buyer’s Remorse

The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.

Intro

Black Friday is historically the busiest shopping day of the year in the United States.  With every purchase, a decision must be made, and the results are not always satisfying.  This often leads to Buyer’s Remorse.

Buyer’s Remorse is an important concept that was widely cited within the Manosphere 1.0 to explain both men’s and women’s decision-making process in their choice of a mate, but it has hardly been mentioned at all by the Manosphere 2.0.

Here’s a review of the concept, lest we forget.
