Discussing Red Pill Lore is Attractive to Based Women

Intro

In times past, Manospherians and the general Red Pill wisdom warned men NOT to talk about Red Pill topics with women, simply because it turned them OFF in a major way.

Even recently, Rollo reiterated this rule of thumb in a post.

“It is always a mistake to explain the game of intersexual dynamics to women. I’ve written essays about this since 2014. Back then, I added a caveat: never talk about Red Pill concepts with women you want to get intimate with. If you didn’t care whether you ended up in bed with her or you were trying to hold a woman accountable for whatever reason, then have at it. But, by now, you should know you’ll never reason a woman into bed with you. Reason and virtue are anti-seductive because they rely on logically convincing a woman to sleep with you.”

Rollo Tomassi: Why Men Don’t Get It (2026/4/26)

In Rollo’s view, as I understand it, talking about Red Pill dynamics is unattractive because it breaks feminine delusions. It also breaks the 5th Wall, thereby making one out to be an amateur geek and exposing one’s motivations for getting laid, as well as one’s personal weaknesses.  It also tends to place a spotlight on women’s sinful nature, thereby forcing the kind of confession that numbs the sexual tension that is so important for seducing women.

However, recently, I’ve seen a shift in this dynamic.  Although I have to say, maybe it’s only because I’m living in Taiwan, and the women here are much more Based than Western women.

Here are a few true-life anecdotes to support my case.

Introduction

The Bible views speech refinement not merely as a matter of etiquette but as a crucial indicator of one’s heart condition, spiritual maturity, and wisdom. Scripture teaches that refined speech is truthful, gracious, constructive, and self-controlled, flowing from a heart that is being transformed by God.  The primary principle is that speech reflects the inner person. Refining your speech requires refining your heart.  (Proverbs 10:19; Proverbs 15:4; Matthew 12:34; Matthew 15:18; Ephesians 4:29; Colossians 4:6; James 1:19; James 3:1-12)

Intro

The previous 5 posts covered the main body of 3 lengthy emails I received from Eric, a young Christian man in Nigeria. Eric’s purpose for writing to me was to obtain some feedback from Christian men about his life circumstances. In short, he’s struggling against a devouring mother foremost, and secondly, he’s seeking to regularly attend a Bible-based church fellowship, and churches of this kind are all very far from his home. He’s also trying to find a job and build a career, and readers have pointed out that this is the most important issue to settle first.

I shared Eric’s email with Catacomb Resident, Deep Strength, Oscar, Red Pill Apostle, Surfdumb, and Thedeti, as he requested.  Others responded via comments.  Their responses are below.  [Some comments are lightly edited for clarity and emphasis.]
