This includes, for example, information such as your name, age, address, telephone number, date of birth, e-mail address, IP address or user behavior when visiting a website. Information for which we cannot (or only with disproportionate effort) establish a connection to your person, e.g. through anonymization, is not personal data. The processing of personal data (e.g. the collection, retrieval, use, storage or transmission) always requires a legal basis and a defined purpose.

Stored personal data will be deleted as soon as the purpose of the processing has been achieved and there are no legitimate reasons for further storage of the data. We will inform you about the specific storage periods or criteria for storage in the individual processing operations. Irrespective of this, we store your personal data in individual cases for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims and in the event of statutory retention obligations.

Who receives my data?

We only pass on your personal data that we process on our website to third parties if this is necessary for the fulfillment of the purposes and is covered by the legal basis (e.g. consent or protection of legitimate interests) in individual cases. In addition, in individual cases we pass on personal data to third parties if this serves the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims. Possible recipients may then be, for example, law enforcement authorities, lawyers, auditors, courts, etc.

Insofar as we use service providers for the operation of our website who process personal data on our behalf as part of order processing in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR, they may be recipients of your personal data. Some functions of our website cannot be offered without the use of cookies or local storage (technically necessary cookies). Other cookies, on the other hand, enable us to carry out various analyses, so that we are able, for example, to recognize the browser you are using when you visit our website again and to transmit various information to us (non-essential cookies). With the help of cookies, we can, among other things, make our website more user-friendly and effective for you, for example by tracking your use of our website and determining your preferred settings (e.g. country and language settings). If third parties process information via cookies, they collect the information directly via your browser. Cookies do not cause any damage to your end device. They cannot execute programs or contain viruses.

We provide information about the respective services for which we use cookies in the individual processing operations. Detailed information on the cookies used can be found in the cookie settings or in the Consent Manager of this website.

  • Data portability pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR, insofar as you have provided us with personal data on the basis of consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR or on the basis of a contract pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR and these have been processed by us using automated procedures. You will receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or we will transmit the data directly to another controller if this is technically feasible.
  • Objection pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR to the processing of your personal data, insofar as this is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e, f GDPR and there are reasons for this arising from your particular situation or the objection is directed against direct advertising. When you access and use our website, we collect the personal data that your browser automatically transmits to our server. The following information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file:

  • IP address of the requesting computer
  • Date and time of access
  • Name and URL of the retrieved file
  • Website from which the access is made (referrer URL)
  • Browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer, as well as the name of your access provider

Purpose and legal basis
Processing is carried out to safeguard our overriding legitimate interest in displaying our website and ensuring security and stability on the basis of Art. 6 (f) GDPR. The collection of data and storage in log files is absolutely necessary for the operation of the website. Insofar as further storage of the log files is required by law, the processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR. There is no legal or contractual obligation to provide the data, but it is not technically possible to access our website without providing the data.

Storage period
The aforementioned data is stored for the duration of the website display.

Type and scope of processing
On our website, we offer you the opportunity to contact us via a form provided. The information collected via mandatory fields is required in order to process the request. You can also voluntarily provide additional information that you believe is necessary to process the contact request. When using the contact form, your personal data will not be passed on to third parties.

Purpose and legal basis
The processing of your data by using our contact form is carried out for the purpose of communication and processing your request on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. Insofar as your request relates to an existing contractual relationship with us, the processing is carried out for the purpose of fulfilling the contract on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. There is no legal or contractual obligation to provide your data, but it is not possible to process your request without providing the information in the mandatory fields. If you do not wish to provide this data, please contact us by other means.

If you use the contact form on the basis of your consent, we store the data collected for each request in accordance with the legally prescribed storage period, starting with the completion of your request or until you withdraw your consent.

Newsletter

Type and scope of processing
If you register on our website to receive our newsletter, we collect your e-mail address [and your name...] and store this information together with the date of registration and your IP address. To send the newsletter, we use a service provided by Hubspot, which processes your personal data on our behalf in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. Your data will not be passed on to third parties.

We would like to point out that we evaluate your user behavior when sending the newsletter. For this analysis, the emails sent contain so-called web beacons or tracking pixels, which are single-pixel image files. For the evaluations, we link your collected data and the web beacons with your e-mail address and an individual ID. Based on the data collected in this way, we receive information about whether the message was successfully delivered, when, where and with what the email was opened and which links were opened by the recipient. You can object to this tracking at any time by clicking on the separate link provided in each email or by informing us via another contact channel. Such tracking is also not possible if you have deactivated the display of images in your e-mail program by default. In this case, the newsletter will not be displayed in full and you may not be able to use all functions. If you display the images manually, the above-mentioned tracking will take place.

Purpose and legal basis
We process your data for the purpose of sending the newsletter on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. By unsubscribing from the newsletter, you can declare your revocation at any time with effect for the future in accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR. There is no legal or contractual obligation to provide your data, but it is not possible to send the newsletter without providing your data.

We publish job vacancies on our website for which you can apply by e-mail. If you decide to apply for an open position, we will process the personal data you provide there and transmit to us exclusively for the purpose of carrying out the application process.
The legal basis for processing your personal data as part of the application process is Section 26 (1) in conjunction with (2) BDSG.

In the event of a rejection, we will delete your data as soon as a retention period of 6 months required by labor law has expired. This period begins when the rejection is sent. If you have expressly consented to the further use of your data for subsequent contact regarding positions that may be of interest to you, we will continue to store your data in accordance with your consent.

If an employment relationship is established following the application process, the data will initially continue to be stored to the extent necessary and permissible and then transferred to the personnel file.
Your personal data may be processed on our behalf on the basis of order processing contracts in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. In these cases, we ensure that the processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.

Otherwise, data will only be passed on to recipients outside the company if this is permitted or required by law, if the transfer is necessary to fulfill legal obligations or if you have given your consent.

The provision of personal data as part of the application process is neither legally nor contractually required. You are therefore not obliged to provide personal data. However, the provision of personal data is necessary for the decision on an application or the conclusion of a contract of employment with us. However, you should only provide such personal data in your application as is necessary for the acceptance and execution of the application. It cannot be ruled out that your data will also be stored by the social networks outside the EU/EEA and passed on to third parties.

Information on, among other things, the exact scope and purposes of the processing of your personal data, the storage period/deletion and guidelines on the use of cookies and similar technologies in the context of registration and use of social networks can be found in the data protection provisions/cookie guidelines of the social networks.
