Mining is at our core in Satarla. Our founders (Sarah, Tankiso, and Laura) all met while working for one of the world’s largest mining companies. They saw the benefit that truly integrated, enterprise-wide risk management can bring to an organisation that wants to be sustainable yet also provide a profit to its shareholders. As our team has grown, it has maintained deep experience in the metals and mining sector, and we have a passion for enabling more responsible exploration, extraction, and use of raw materials, through our extensive range of services.

At Satarla, the team has a wealth of of both technical and practical expertise in the mining and natural resources sectors, based on decades spent working out what does and does not work to make the sector more sustainable. These experiences are drawn from around the world and are now shared through consulting, training and research.
