S2VNA 25.1

S2VNA is a Windows-based application from CMT that controls and analyzes measurements from the company’s two-port vector network analyzers. It turns a PC into a full-featured VNA workstation, enabling precise S-parameter characterization with an intuitive, customizable interface.

Key capabilities:

• Full instrument control over stimulus and measurement parameters, with linear/log frequency, segmented, power, and CW-time sweeps
• Industry-standard calibration methods (e.g., SOLT, TRL/LRL, unknown thru, waveguide), plus port extension, adapter removal, and electronic calibration support
• Versatile displays and analysis tools, including log magnitude, phase, group delay, SWR, Smith and polar charts, markers, trace math, limit lines, and pass/fail testing
• Time-domain analysis with gating and fixture simulation, along with embedding and de-embedding using Touchstone network files
• Robust data management: save/recall instrument states; export S-parameters (s1p/s2p), CSV data, and screen captures
• Automation and remote control via SCPI and common programming environments such as Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, and .NET
• Demo mode for offline operation without connected hardware
