Access and Subscription Model

Robotics Xplore operates on a paid access model. Instead of a traditional institutional subscription, we offer an alternative that allows for flexible and cost-effective access to our content.

Institutional Access Options

While we do not offer a site-wide institutional subscription, we are committed to working with libraries to ensure their patrons have efficient access to our content. We offer the following options:

1. Pay-Per-View Vouchers:

   • Libraries can purchase a block of pre-paid vouchers. Each voucher can be redeemed by a user for one article download.

   • This system allows the library to control costs while providing on-demand access to a limited number of articles.

   • Benefits: No annual subscription fee, precise budget management, and access only to the content your patrons need.

   • Please contact us for more details and pricing on voucher packages.

2. IP-Based Access (Pilot Program):

   • We are exploring a limited institutional IP-based access model for a select number of partner libraries.

   • This program would grant unlimited access to your institution’s network for an annual fee.

   • Benefits: Unlimited downloads for all users within your institution's network.

Open Access Statement

Robotics Xplore is not an open-access journal. Our paid-access model allows us to maintain a high standard of editorial quality, rigorous peer review, and secure long-term digital archiving, ensuring the integrity and discoverability of the research we publish.

Archiving

We are committed to the long-term preservation of our content. All articles published in Robotics Xplore are archived through CLOCKSS and reputable archiving services.
