Publication Ethics

Robotics Xplore is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and academic integrity. The journal adheres to internationally accepted ethical principles and to the guidelines and best practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Further information about COPE and its principles is available at: https://publicationethics.org

All parties involved in the publishing process, including authors, reviewers, editors, and the publisher, are expected to adhere to these standards.

Responsibilities of Authors

Authors must ensure that their submitted work is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere. All sources must be properly cited, and any form of plagiarism, data fabrication, or data falsification is strictly prohibited. Authorship should accurately reflect individuals who have made significant contributions to the research, and all contributors should be appropriately acknowledged. Any potential conflicts of interest must be clearly disclosed at the time of submission.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers are expected to conduct reviews objectively, fairly, and confidentially. They should evaluate manuscripts solely on academic merit, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope. Reviewers must not use unpublished material from a submitted manuscript for their own research and should declare any conflicts of interest that could affect their judgment.

Responsibilities of Editors

Editors are responsible for making publication decisions based on the quality, originality, and relevance of the manuscript, without discrimination or bias. They must ensure a fair and transparent peer review process and maintain the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts. Editors should take appropriate action in cases of suspected misconduct, including plagiarism, unethical research practices, or undisclosed conflicts of interest.

Ethical Oversight and Misconduct

Robotics Xplore takes allegations of misconduct seriously. The journal will investigate any ethical concerns in accordance with COPE guidelines and may take appropriate actions, including issuing corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions, where necessary. The journal is committed to preserving the integrity of the scholarly record.

By submitting a manuscript to Robotics Xplore, authors agree to abide by these ethical standards and policies and to follow the guidelines and best practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
