Post-2018, we pivoted towards a model centered on impact and ethics, driven by a commitment to measurable, social, community and climate practices. (2009)
In the beginning
Reny® started in 2009 as 6.2, an innovation lab collaborating with giants like Westpac, Australia Post, and Nike. At its inception, we stood alongside consulting powerhouses like McKinsey and Capgemini to address market challenges for major corporations. This period was foundational in shaping our approach to complex problems through design thinking, paving the way for innovative solutions for renowned brands.

A Global Studio
In 2015, Reny® expanded into the U.S. and established teams in Ukraine, Japan, and beyond, transforming into a digital agency. During this phase, we collaborated on strategy and brand development with startups and creative businesses and served as an overflow agency for some of the world’s premier design firms, including Saatchi, Vandal, Pentagram, and Huge. This expansion broadened our global footprint and enhanced our capabilities in delivering cutting-edge digital solutions.

By 2020, Reny® fully embraced its role in sustainable design by aligning with movements like Design Declares and attaining B Corp certification. This era marked a significant pivot in our mission, focusing on the environmental impact of our projects. We redefined design thinking, invested in green services, and pioneered smarter systems to become leaders in climate design, brand strategy, and digital product development.

Curious about our services? Over the past 15 years, Reny® has undergone significant transformations. Our most notable change has been revolutionising traditional Design Thinking and Human-Centered Design into what we now call Systemic Design Foundations (affectionately known as Re360). This innovative approach integrates considerations of climate, community, humanity, and product into the initial design phase. The alarming statistic that 80% of the world’s climate challenges originate during this critical stage. Our framework is meticulously designed to confront and tackle these issues from the ground up.
