...and for years, I thought healing meant waiting for someone else to save me
I didn’t set out to become a healer. I set out to feel whole.
From a young age, I carried a quiet ache. A sense that I didn’t quite belong. I was always searching, moving through countries, careers, and identities—trying to find a life that felt like mine.
On the outside, I looked successful. But inside, I was unraveling.
By my 30s, it all caught up with me.
I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I lived with relentless fatigue, chronic pain, migraines, and a fog that made it impossible to get through the day.
Doctors offered medications, referrals, and endless appointments, but no real answers.
So I did what so many of us do…I searched.
I tried every healing modality I could find: acupuncture, massage, yoga…even firewalking,
I was terrified about my future. My health. My purpose...
Until one evening, I found myself at a Reiki healing circle. I had been practicing Reiki for years… but I hadn’t truly lived it.
That night, something clicked.
In the stillness, I realized I had been chasing healing instead of practicing it. I didn’t need to find another method. I needed to master the one I already knew.
So I made a decision: To commit to a daily Reiki practice, not as a technique, but as a way of life.
That changed everything.
The pain began to ease.
The fog began to lift.
And I began to come home to myself.
Reiki didn’t fix me. It reconnected me to my body, my energy, and my own inner guidance.
That’s what no one tells you.
You don't need to be fixed.
You need to be reconnected.
Today, I teach what I’ve lived. I created ReikiDAO Collective to help others reconnect to their own self-healing ability, without overwhelm, without fluff, and without spiritual bypass.
