Volunteer Programs

Our volunteers are positive adult influences, encouraging and supporting kids through fun interaction and good works

We encourage our community friends and leaders to help us make a difference in our students’ lives.

Your Time, Your Schedule, Their Futures

At Ranger Good Works, we make it easy for you to support our kids. Whether you can give an hour, a day, or commit to a short-term project, your time makes a difference. We offer flexible opportunities that fit your schedule—you choose when and how you volunteer. Together, we can create brighter futures, one moment at a time.

Mentor Program

The purpose of having mentors is to provide disadvantaged children with caring adult role models who befriend students and spend quality time with them. Ranger Good Works mentors incorporate tutoring and academic enrichment activities that support student achievement in the classroom and help students meet the proficiencies required by Dillard Elementary School.

Guest Speaker Hero Program

Guest speakers are invited into after-school clubs. Ranger Good Works recruits talented, goal-oriented, and successful individuals to inspire students at the schools we serve. Our guest speakers range from women computer technologists to race car drivers!

Presentations from guest speakers may range from sharing professional experiences to showcasing talents or special skills (e.g., art, math, science, music, computer coding, cooking, dance, acting, sports, and more).

Helping Hands Program

Volunteers can either donate their time at an event or simply go into a classroom and read with young students.

Administration and Office Volunteer Opportunities

It takes many helping hands to facilitate programming, funding, volunteers, technology, and communications for the schools we serve. If you are office-oriented and would like to make a difference behind the scenes, contact us to discuss ways you can contribute your time.
