If you have added options to a product and want other products or a collection of products to have the same options, you can easily apply the options in Bulk. Furthermore, you can store your work as a template and use it later for other products or collections.

Applying Product options in Bulk

You can follow the steps below to apply the options in Bulk.

• Click and expand the menu at the top right corner of the customizer page. Two options will appear: “Apply to” and “Save as Template.” Click on the apply to button to open the bulk configuration pop-up window.

  

• It will open a pop-up modal like the following with a few options. At the top, you can choose “Apply to product” or “Apply to collection.” The first option allows you to search and select a list of products to which you want to apply the options. The other allows you to select a collection and apply the options to all the products inside that collection.

  

• At the top is a toggle named “Override existing options?” and a dropdown called “View Background.”
  • If you enable the “Override existing options?” toggle, the options will be forcibly applied to the product with other options. This will remove the old options and apply the new ones. Leaving the toggle disabled will skip the products that already have the options.
  • In the case of “View Background,” two options are available: “Same as this product” and “Product Image.” The first option applies the background image used in the source products to the list of selected products or collections. The latter makes the image of the selected product the background.

Store Product Options as Template

You can store the product options as templates and later apply them to the products.

• Expand the menu at the top right corner of the customizer page and click “Save as Template.”
  
• This will open a modal window like the following, allowing you to provide the template name, description, and a thumbnail image. If you click Create afterward, the product options will be stored and found in the template section.

  

• You can use/apply templates to products from the template section and edit, copy, or delete them.

N.B. There is a limit of templates that can be stored depending on the subscription plan.
