1. General Conduct
You must be at least 16 years old to use Pentito. We reserve the right to delete any account that violates this requirement.
All players are expected to behave respectfully and fairly towards other users, staff, and the game environment. Toxic behavior, harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or personal attacks of any kind will not be tolerated and may result in an immediate ban.
2. Authority of Staff
The Pentito staff retains the full right to issue any punishment deemed necessary at any time. This includes, but is not limited to, bans, freezes, admin kills, chat restrictions, and item removals. These actions are final and not subject to appeal or discussion. We reserve the right to delete or permanently disable accounts involved in severe or repeated rule violations, including all related data, progress, or purchases, without compensation.
3. Cheating & Exploiting
Using scripts, bots, exploits, automation tools, or any form of unfair advantage is strictly prohibited. Exploiting bugs, glitches, or unintended mechanics will result in disciplinary action - even if reported after use. If you discover a bug, report it immediately.
4. Account Sharing & Multi-Accounts
Each player may only use one account. Operating multiple accounts (multi-accounting) is prohibited unless explicitly permitted. Account sharing is also not allowed - you are responsible for everything that happens on your account.
This includes sharing access with others, allowing someone to play for you during sleep, work, or absence, or using remote control tools to keep your account active. All gameplay must reflect natural human behavior. Suspicious continuous activity (e.g. 24/7 presence) may result in suspension or investigation, even if no automation is detected.
Accounts found to be involved in suspicious activity, including but not limited to login location inconsistencies, shared IPs, or trade abuse, may be suspended or terminated without notice.
5. Use of VPNs and Proxies
Using VPNs, proxies, anonymizers, or any service that masks your real IP address is not allowed. Pentito relies on IP tracking to prevent abuse, and the use of such tools may result in temporary or permanent bans - even without prior warning. If you need to use a VPN due to exceptional circumstances (e.g. travel), contact support first for approval.
6. Temporary or Masked Emails
You must register and use Pentito with a valid, permanent email address. Using temporary, disposable, or email-masking services (such as Apple's iCloud Relay or 10-minute mail) is strictly forbidden. Accounts linked to such addresses may be suspended or deleted without notice. Accounts using such services may be deleted without the possibility of recovery.
7. Political and Historical Discussions
Pentito is a fictional game environment and is not a place for political debate or historical discourse. Discussions involving real-world politics, ideologies, or controversial historical events are not allowed anywhere in the game. We aim to keep the game a safe and inclusive space for all players, regardless of their background or views.
8. Offensive and Politically Themed Usernames
Usernames, character names, and family names must not contain political references, offensive language, hate speech, or anything that could reasonably be considered inappropriate. Staff may rename, suspend, or remove such names at their discretion, without warning or appeal.
9. Language Policy
The only allowed languages within Pentito are English and Dutch. This applies to chat, family names, profiles, bios, and any user-generated content. This helps maintain safety, moderation, and fair communication for all users. Messages in other languages may be hidden or removed automatically by our moderation systems.
10. Real Money Transactions (RMT)
Buying, offering, selling, or trading Pentito accounts, items, or currency for real-world money or goods is strictly forbidden. Any involvement in RMT may lead to a permanent ban for all parties involved. Even offering or advertising RMT-related services is a bannable offense.
11. Volunteer Staff
Pentito is maintained and moderated by a team of volunteers. These individuals act on behalf of the game’s interest but carry no legal responsibility for their actions. By using the game, you agree that neither Pentito nor its volunteers can be held liable for any decisions made, including - but not limited to - account bans, suspensions, administrative actions (such as admin kills), or the removal of in-game assets.
12. In-Game Economy & Abuse
Any attempt to manipulate or destabilize the in-game economy - including artificial price inflation, item duplication, or unfair wealth transfers - is strictly forbidden. Abuse of market features will be monitored and penalized.
13. Bugs and Technical Problems
Pentito may experience bugs, technical problems, or other unintended behavior. In such cases, we reserve the full right to revert actions, remove items or currency, and correct data without notice. We offer no warranties and accept no liability for any disruption, loss, or consequences resulting from such issues.
14. Criminal Behavior
Any behavior that may constitute a criminal offense, including but not limited to doxing, fraud, threats, identity theft, harassment, stalking, or other illegal actions, will result in an immediate and irreversible ban. This applies regardless of the users location or intent.
Pentito does not tolerate criminal conduct under any circumstance. We report all illegal activity to the Dutch police (Politie Nederland) without exception. If the player resides outside the Netherlands, we may also notify and cooperate with relevant foreign law enforcement agencies in the players jurisdiction.
We also reserve the right to report serious violations to the users Internet Service Provider (ISP), platform provider, or hosting company, depending on the nature of the offense. Such reports may include technical and identifying data where permitted by law.
Additionally, Pentito will fully cooperate with official investigations initiated by judicial or law enforcement authorities, even if no internal rule violation has been identified, provided such requests are lawful, specific, and properly substantiated.
All criminal reports and cooperation actions are handled with strict confidentiality, and we reserve the right to share relevant user data when required by legal process or public safety concerns.
15. Addiction Awareness & Self-Limitation
Pentito is intended for casual entertainment. We recognize the risks of excessive gameplay and encourage all players to take regular breaks. If you feel that your gaming behavior is becoming problematic, you may request a temporary cooldown or access restriction. We will handle such requests confidentially and without judgment.
16. Appeals and Support Requests
While most administrative decisions are final, you may submit a one-time appeal via our official support channels. Appeals must be respectful and clearly state your case. Abuse of the support system, including spam, threats, or false claims, may result in further penalties.
17. Rule Updates & Final Authority
These rules may be updated or expanded at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to stay informed. Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse. The Pentito team reserves the right to interpret and enforce rules as needed for the good of the game. The Pentito team’s interpretation of the rules is final. Attempting to exploit loopholes or ambiguous language will not be tolerated.
