At Maitland-Australian Physiotherapy Seminars (MAPS), we offer comprehensive continuing education with valuable new hands-on skills in the Maitland Concept of Orthopedic Manual Therapy tailored for Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs). MAPS became an AOTA-Approved Provider in 2025, and has already obtained AOTA approval for several courses listed below with more AOTA-approved courses expected in the coming months. AOTA approval for MT-2, MT-O, MT-FMC, MT-G, MT-SIJ and MT-UC is anticipated in the coming months.

CEU credits depend on several factors, such as course length and content. Participants can expect to earn occupational therapy continuing education credits ranging from 20 to 35 CE Hours per course. Please be advised that some of our courses have prerequisites.

Our courses typically combine home study material with hands-on laboratory sessions. This hybrid format (online/live, in-person) provides a balanced learning environment to support theoretical and practical understanding of the material with minimal time away from home.

Occupational Therapists and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants can enroll in our continuing education programs by visiting our website. You can find a course near you and sign up for the programs that best suit your schedule and professional development goals.

You can take the courses of your choice to enhance your practice and renew your license. MAPS is an AOTA-Approved Provider, which ensures our courses comply with CE requirements for OTs and COTAs. Currently only MT-1 and MT-1UL are already approved by AOTA, but final approval applications are in process for MT-2, MT-O, MT-FMC, MT-G, MT-SIJ and MT-UC. Our courses are regularly offered in cities across the US. This allows you to tailor your learning path based on your interests and professional aspirations. Although some courses do have prerequisites, our helpful staff can help you design a plan to meet your needs and earn the occupational therapy continuing education credits you need.
