I mean if you could pick just one thing, one was known for what would it be? Likely not this movie for pick one movie to watch forever, the song maybe but not Iron Eagle.
Lot of “Pick One” though. Movie to watch. Song to Listen to. Person in History to talk to. Place to Visit. Food to eat for the rest of your life. Pet to stay with you forever. Last conversation to have. Hug to give. More I Love You. Minute. Moment.
I forgot to do “N” I have spent my day doing things and the last few hours going through other blog posts on the A to Z Master list… I just left a comment on a blogspot ( I think) and I clicked my name… it took me here to my site and I realized. I hadn’t done an “N” post yet. What a strange way to realize I am in fact “still” behind hahahaha. Welp, it’s ok I do need to work my way through the list that’s part of the challenge and one of the ways I have made some friendly contacts over the years. They seem pretty happy about it, “Monday, Monday so good to me…”. I wonder what happened to this, now Mondays are dreaded. Monday Evening was good too… Listen to it.. oh-uh.. can’t trust that day… CRAP!
No, seriously… everyone stops being a bunch of argumentative jerks to everyone. Don’t agree with something someone has posted then don’t comment. Did everyone’s parents stop saying this “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all”.
I’m not even talking about Politics, which has devolved into a gotcha game of middle school bullshit. and What about isms and false dichotomy’s as argument’s that are specious at best. I’m talking about everyday simple things like a TV show.
Recently it was announced that Star Trek Lower Decks was being canceled after its 5th season (don’t get me started on a season being 10 episodes now). Star Trek Strange New Worlds though had been renewed for season 4 (Yep, 10 episodes). The fans went nuts, “why keep Strange New World on its trash, Lower Decks should get another season’. The hate flying between these people… My goodness Star Trek Discovery is in it’s final season too, not my fav but I watch it I like the actors, not the writing though. They were so horrible to each other people where banning and blocking each other over it.
Think it’s only Star Trek, the Star Wars folks are even worse, someone posted a thing about “Gray” jedi… and the fandom went crazy just berating this guy about how that’s non “canon” and you suck and it’s your fault babies die in their cribs… I mean really? REALLY? I am now friends with the guy who posted the original one. He’s going to read the non-canon books about Star Wars from the 90’s now. The ones that were the story after Return of The Jedi… and now don’t count at all. Over 50 Books no longer part of the Star Wars Saga, coninued the story decades after Return of the Jedi ended. Luke Married, Hand and Lei married soties wholes series called Young Jedi Knights, about the Solo kids. Poof Gone.
All I’m saying is this, the internet echo chamber is not a good thing, everyone take stock and be nice. Don’t try to be nice, actually be nice. It’s not hard. LETS BE NICE Or else.
