  • What a fun year it has been at A to Z


    I really have had a good time this year with the A to Z challenge. I have made a couple of new friends to follow. They don’t know we are friends, we are in my mind though. I sometimes feel like I make a connection with a person, even though we haven’t met. I keep it to myself though cause… while not creepy it kind of sounds creepy if I start acting on it. I see how people act on Twitter sometimes just go look at the #writingcommunity on Twitter ( I will not call it X). Anyway… Hi new friends I wish you well even if you don’t know it.

    Writing on here for me is a way to just throw words out into the universe, let something go. I still have to be careful cause family sometimes sticks there head in here… and I wouldn’t want to scare anyone unnecessarily. I do keep paying writing away from here though. I really just stream of consciousness on here, and sometimes it gets a bit nutty, or rude, or opinionated. I do basic editing as I go, I use the autospell checker (which can be funny sometimes).

  • Oh No, I got sidetracked on the letter V


    Yep, it’s been a while since I had a letter just take off without a prompt. However, letter “V” on the A to Z challenge has turned into something of a short story. Currently just over 5k words and now I am editing. I honestly can’t remember the last time something took off from a single letter prompt. That said, I am way behind now So I will be finishing some today and tomorrow since the story is in Edit mode and on paper finally.



    I think Haiku’s are fun and easy (usually) to do so I will end V with a V theme poem.

    Once I fell behind,

I feel bad about the short story since I do not typically post any of those types of things on here.. this is for my blowing off steam and clearing the pipes. I might do it anyway… but I like keeping my actual writing very separate from my barely edited and auto spellchecked blog 🙂

    Underneath the umbrella of a starlit sky, in a universe where unicorns pranced and planets danced, especially Uranus, there existed a unique and utterly unparalleled letter.

    Unraveling its mystery required a journey through the unexpected, a quest for understanding that unearthed the untold. Unerringly brought forth unfurling like a utopian flag, the letter “U” stood as an unsung hero, unearthing words with unparalleled utility.

    In the depths of its curves and corners, it harbored untold stories, whispering secrets of unrequited love and unyielding perseverance. Unraveling its potential was a unique and unabridged challenge, like unballing a ball of yarn or untying a tied knot, or worse undoing a done deal.

    Urged by curiosity, the linguists embarked on a relentless pursuit, unearthing the hidden gems within its unknow and unknowable confines. Unveiling its power, they unlocked doors to unimaginable realms, where the impossible became undeniable and the unreachable came within reach.

  • Thanks for the Memories…


    Well, it made sense when I typed it, but has almost nothing to do with whatever it is I am writing this time. A to Z has been good this year. I have quite a few new views, some new follows. I found a few blogs I like, many Role playing games TTRPG’s Table Top Role Playing Games. One in Spanish, amazing how well the translate feature works. I’m glad I am participating again this year. Thanks everyone for visiting. Thats really it thanks for visiting, and commenting, and clicking like.

    I did finish going through the Master List just prior to writing this. That list always takes time to get through but that’s how we find new blogs to follow and see new things. Odd this year, one was simply gone, with a notice saying it had been removed. Three, I think it was three just had bad links and of course maybe a dozen had stopped over a week or two ago. I’m still thankful to be doing this again though. I hope tomorrow I can spend more time going through the blogs I follow and commenting on what I have missed while going through the master list.
