A local and global challenge
Osprey Initiative’s education program is designed to enhance the science classroom experience with a curriculum that blends 80% national standards with 20% local, place-based content.
By focusing on the very visible issue of litter, students gain a hands-on introduction to environmental challenges that affect them at a regional, national, and global level.

We believe education is the first step in creating change. By instilling a sense of responsibility, we can empower students to become active participants in building cleaner and healthier cities and waterways. These young environmental stewards can and will become our future community leaders!
Osprey’s educational lesson plans can be customized for grades K–12, as well as adapted for nontraditional audiences like conferences, corporate training, and civic groups with an interest in environmental action.
