Modern Cocktail Table
Opus rents event tables across greater Los Angeles — farm and farmhouse dining tables (44″×96″ walnut and white, 8-10 guests), modern dining tables in white, black, and natural finishes, round tables in 30″, 36″, 48″, 60″ (most popular for weddings), and 72″ diameters, rectangular banquet tables in 4-foot, 6-foot, and 8-foot lengths, cocktail and high-top tables at 42″ height for cocktail hour and brand activations, plus specialty pieces including barrel tables, communal long tables, low-top farm tables, hairpin Tuscan tables, and the Il Cielo specialty table. Most table setups pair with our chair inventory for guest seating, linen and table essentials for standard banquet and round tables that need coverage, and ceiling drapery or pipe and drape backdrops to define the reception space. Pricing starts at $10 for basic banquet tables and ranges to $150 for specialty pieces.
Frequently Asked Questions
What types of tables does Opus rent in Los Angeles?
Our table inventory spans the full range of event needs — round dining tables, rectangular banquet tables, cocktail/high-top tables, farm and farmhouse tables, glass tables, and specialty pieces. Styles run from basic banquet and modern to rustic, fancier specialty, and glass. The full catalog is on our tables page with photos and individual pricing for each piece.
How many guests does each table size seat?
Here’s our standard seating capacity guide:
30″ round (cocktail/high-top): 2-4 guests standing
36″ round: 3-4 guests seated
48″ round: 6-8 guests seated
60″ round: 8-10 guests seated (most popular for weddings)
72″ round: 10-12 guests seated
6′ rectangular: 6-8 guests seated
8′ rectangular: 8-10 guests seated
For weddings and seated dinner events, 60″ rounds are our most-requested table because they balance guest interaction with comfortable spacing.
What styles of tables do you carry?
Our table inventory leans across multiple aesthetics — modern, rustic, basic banquet, fancier specialty pieces, and glass. Whether you’re planning a classic wedding reception, a polished corporate dinner, or a casual outdoor party, we can match the table style to the event. Full lineup with photos is on our tables page.
What’s the difference between cocktail tables and dining tables?
The main difference is height. Cocktail tables stand at 42″ tall — designed for guests to gather around with drinks during cocktail hour, brand activations, and networking moments. Dining tables stand at 30″ tall (standard dining height) and are used for seated meals. Most events use both: cocktail tables for the cocktail hour, dining tables for the seated meal.
Can I pick up tables myself instead of having them delivered?
Will-call (customer pickup) is available for our basic folding tables. Most other table styles — round dining tables, rectangular banquet tables, cocktail high-tops, glass, farm/farmhouse, and specialty pieces — are delivery-only because of size, weight, or fragility. Delivery is always charged separately, and a minimum order applies.
How many tables do I need for my event?
For seated dinners, divide your guest count by 8 if you’re using 60″ rounds (our most popular table) or by 10 if using 72″ rounds — then round up. For cocktail hour, plan one 30″ cocktail table for every 8-12 guests. Most weddings use both: 60″ rounds for the seated dinner plus a few cocktail tables for the lobby or pre-dinner area. Send us your headcount and event style and we’ll map out a recommended table count.
Are linens included with table rentals?
Linens are not included with table rentals, but we offer them as a separate rental for the basic tables that need linen coverage — round dining tables, rectangular banquet tables, and other standard styles. Our full linen catalog with color options is on our essentials page. For specialty tables (farm, farmhouse, glass, live-edge styles), most clients leave the surface uncovered to showcase the table itself.
