My Faves of 2009: A is for Ambitious, Ashlee Chisholm

Ashlee Chisholm

A self-proclaimed B&N addict, writer, animal lover, and blogger, she’s also a fresh new graduate of Temple University (hey, I went there before transferring to Syracuse).  But the professional communications experience already under her belt is enviable even to this seasoned pro, and it speaks volumes: Public Affairs Intern at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia; Public Relations Assistant at the Council for Relationships; Contributing Writer at College Magazine; Staff Member at PRowl Public Relations.

My Faves of 2009: Social Media Goes to School with Aerial Ellis

Aerial Ellis

With her alma mater Tennessee State University implementing an integrated marketing and rebranding plan, Aerial put forth an ambitious social media marketing plan. With clarity of vision, she laid out the use of Web 2.0 technologies as strategic outreach tools to recruit and research prospective students and communicate TSU’s academic successes to global communities.  Not only did she personally share the plan and counsel me by phone, she maximized the value of our connection and communication as a power user of Twitter and Facebook. Ranked among PR News’ “15 to Watch” as well as Nashville’s Top 30 Under 30, Aerial is one of the most impressive people that I have never met! I hope to meet her someday soon.

As the principal of the public relations consultancy Urbane Imagery, Aerial is highly sought for her distinct ability to align partnerships and gain media coverage that strengthens brands and catapults images.  http://mim.io/33891
