 there to catch my tears

Yes today’s D is Dog.  I am at present without a four-legged friend but hope to have a new furry  friend by year’s end.

Do you have a four legged friend?

Some A to Z bloggers to enjoy this month:

Gone Are Those Days #photography #poetry #dpchallenge

my pool

Gone are summer’s days

many voices many sounds

where we played in sun’s rays

children all around

dreamy is the dog

Never forgotten

are the ones who with wag

give  crisp autumn  smiles

lost season’s sag

my mistake

Gone is winter’s stormy pain

your fingers drew a daggered edge

angled at my heart

free once more to fledge

around my heart

Never forgotten passage’s tears

winding about all but dead

willing life to sprout

binding spring of winter rid

half heart

Coffee Anyone

With our coffee cups they play

and bring endless smiles to our day

peacefully sleep in are arms

knowing we will keep them from harm

what they offer as a furry  friend

loyalty in which we can depend

all I can do Is cry #atozchallenge #death #pets

LIttle one

all I can do is criiiii

You pour out your devotion

all you can give

it’s all conveyed

in one wet lick

you dance with such love

saying “all to you I give

look in my eyes

for your love I live”

Mommy look at my heart

all I could give

for you were my world

to joy’s song I would spin

My daughter lost her little doggie Sadie on Monday. We have no idea what happened. She was lifeless when K got home.

I shed too many  tears to count for you little Sadie

we loved you dear friend

~good night

A to Z folks please forgive me this really has nothing to do with the letter “I” except that I am heartbroken. My daughter needed this little friend to keep her afloat during a difficult time.

I dedicate this to Sadie and her sweet momma
