Never Left (Just Bidding My Time)

I didn’t leave

I was just around

Waiting for my moment

Bidding my time

Processing and understanding…

…life

I needed to step away

No rhyme or reason

Something hard to explain

Or understand

I now know why some just go

No words

No explanation

I’m picking up the pieces

Slowly getting back

Perhaps I’ll never be the same again

Mystery of the Moon’s Dark Side

Photo of the Moon with the Earth from afar. Taken by the crew of Artemis II. Downloaded from Nasa.

See my beauty

The one that shines

No one had seen my dark side

Until now

‘Twas exhilarating!

To be seen from a different view

I felt completely seen

Finally!

The Spark (No Longer There)

The spark that used to guide in darkness has now dimmed

No ember to revive it

No way to get it back

A match is in my pocket, I wait for some moment

Before lighting back up the torch

I miss you all. Sorry for being MIA (missing in action) for so long. I’m alright by the way. Just very busy. Thinking of everyone and praying for peace and safety.

XO,

Blank Canvas

A blank canvas before me

It’s staring at me and I stay mum

Thoughts raising

And I wonder if it was all a fluke

The painted words are still there

But passion seems to have been lost

I understand now why some people just fade without a word

And the canvas is left bare

Cold January Sunrise

The cold January air

Envelopes the country with a cold chill

Weather is quite fair

But the cold air is still

The sun rises but not as warm

It basks in the coolness

Still, it turns on its charm

Showing the January chill its boldness

I took a photo of the sun rising while at work, last Friday. It’s still a little dark here even when it’s 6:00AM. That will change as soon as summer starts around mid March.

Pages and Sand

Sadje’s What do you see # 324

This image shows the front of a used books shop, with many books displayed in the window. Outside the window, a girl wearing a graduation cap is standing close to a trolley containing more books with a price tag of $1 per book. She has a book in her hands.

This image shows desert dunes with footprints left by humans and animals in the sand. The photographer explains; Under the warm sun, the dunes carry gentle scars of passage, lines and footprints that vanish as quietly as they appear!

Remember and do not forget all the good things
Put them in the pages
For memory often fades
Like the footprints in the sand
Blown away by the wind
